Dear MountainView Cycling Community,
Divorce is hard. It’s hard on the people directly involved, and it’s hard for those who care to watch it unfold. Many of you have become more than customers—you’ve become friends and a support system through the highs and lows. Your loyalty has kept MountainView Cycling rolling, and I’m deeply grateful for every mile we've shared.
From day one, this shop has been a family endeavor. Because of that, losing half of the heart and vision behind it has been incredibly difficult. Watching my four-year-old son navigate this life change has also weighed heavily on me. That’s why, after much reflection, I’ve made the tough decision to close MountainView Cycling.
I’m choosing to prioritize time with him in these formative years—time I can never get back. While this wasn’t the future I imagined for the shop, I believe it’s the right path for us now.
To the incredible community of Parker: thank you. You welcomed us, supported us through the slow seasons, cheered us on during the busy ones, and trusted us with your bikes, your stories, and your rides. It’s our hope that someone else in the community will continue the work—repairing bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and offering the care you all deserve.
While the shop is closing, I’m still passionate about riding and building community. I plan to continue leading group rides here in Parker and supporting our local cycling scene in that way. April 30 – Final day to bring in new service
May 15 – Final day for special orders
May 17 – Final day to pick up consignment bikes
May 24 – Final day to pick up completed service bikes
May 31 – Official store closing
Shop Hours Until Closing:
Tuesday – Friday: 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
If your bike is currently in the shop for service, please rest assured—we’re committed to completing all service work. We’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready for pickup.
We’ll also be sharing updates about sales and markdowns in the coming weeks via our email blast, along with a formal shop closing announcement on social media later this week.
It has truly been a pleasure riding with you. This may be the end of the shop, but not the end of the journey—we’ll see you out on the trails.
